Discover BUFADESO
Bunda Farmers Development Organization (BUFADESO) is a community-based organization established on 27 February 2012 by farmer groups in Bunda District, Mara Region, Tanzania. The organization was formed to create a strong network of farmer groups that would sustain development activities initiated with the support of Vi Agroforestry, a Swedish international NGO that previously implemented projects in the region. BUFADESO was officially registered on 4 December 2013 under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act No. 24 with a registration number 00NGO/00010200. BUFADESO works to strengthen farmer groups, promote sustainable agriculture, and support community-led development initiatives that improve livelihoods and environmental sustainability.

To empower citizens and to build the capacity of farmers improved, productive and sustainable agriculture for the benefit of the entire Tanzanian community.

OBJECTIVES
BENEFICIARIES:.
Small holder farmers.
Both individually and in groups: These are farmers engaging themselves in different activities like agricultural production and marketing, microfinance (Village Saving & Loan Associations - VSLA and Village Community Banks - VICOBA), study groups, tree planting, entrepreneurship and Agroforestry.
Special groups.
Groups of people with prioritization such as women groups, youth groups, school children as well as People Living with HIV/AIDS.
