BUFADESO Objectives

In order to contribute improving the livelihoods of fsrmers communities in Tanzania through capacity building and empowerment.

  • To conduct research on advanced and modern agriculture methods, markets, and farming tools.
  • To enhance capacity building for farmers on environmental conservation, climate change, and modern farming technologies.
  • To evaluate and monitor farmers' projects and activities against settled goals.
  • To establish irrigation schemes connecting Lake Victoria to peripheral village areas in Bunda.
  • To lobby and advocate policies and strategies that support the agriculture sector in Bunda District.

BUFADESO stands for Bunda Farmers Development Support Organization — a community-based organization established on 27 February 2012 and officially registered on 4 December 2013 under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act No. 24 with registration number 00NGO/00010200.

BUFADESO envisions having a strong community that will bring sustainable agricultural development to farmers across Tanzania.
